The legacy of Anakin Skywalker and his alter ego , Darth Vader , interpenetrate throughout this trilogy of films . Indeed , Kylo Ren appears to forever desire to live up to his grandfather , even fashioning a mask similar to that of Vader .
This is why it ’s so surprising that Darth Vader , or at the very least Anakin Skywalker , never returned to the franchise in some way . We were sure that a military unit fit or flashback could have Ren confront by Vader , picture him the accuracy of his redemption .

They are always the ultimate foil to any hero and are an sluttish set of fictional character to use if there need to be some bring stakes or tactical difference . A Hutt can confuse or complicate a situation very easily and it would have been great to see this at frolic again .
MACE WINDU
Mace Windu was another voice that we hear in Rey ’s foreland during the final climactic conflict with the Emperor . Windu was take for granted stagnant , killed by Palpatine during their battle on Coruscant ; although the picture never represent us with a torso .
There ’s been speculation for years that Mace Windu never give out , although he would be too old by now to come out in these films . However , there are always ways around this and we think there could be a theory of some sort of coming into court from the Jedi with the purple lightsaber .
BOBA FETT
We love , it ’s been said a million time , that Boba Fett likely is n’t beat after all . The squirt large number using , chargeman wielding bounty hunter has n’t seem in the film serial publication since his run - in with a Sarlacc Pit on Tatooine .
That has n’t stopped fans from creating any number of fashion that he could have appear in this new series . Although it was never likely , it would n’t have in reality been surprising if Lucasfilm and Disney did manage to weave the most popular Mandalorian into this trilogy .
