However , in the original trilogy , fans only suffer two Sith , and they ’ve since become the most beloved bad guy in the wandflower : Darth Vaderand Darth Sidious , AKA Emperor Palpatine .

Darth Vader Has The Muscle

Also , Palpatine was the one with ambition . He made the link that led to his with child Empire , and he was the cause it became such a huge big businessman . However , as a Sith , he did it in dark , demented ways where he tormented them and tried to draw them to link him . If he can do that to his loved one , he ’s a much more compelling ( and misrepresented ) villain .
Palpatine Has Plots Within Plots
Even when he was Senator Palpatine , not the Emperor , he had plans within design to get the galaxy in disarray and under his spell . The clone , his senate standing , the Separatists , he engineer all of it to place himself in power . And that ’s just the plan that were deliberate and ambitious . Those do n’t include his " just in case of catastrophe " plots .
He even had an Emperor cult to bring him back if he ever needed it .
A paranoid sometime man , Palpatine was frighteningly good at put together back - up plans to protect his own involvement .
That ’s a twisted spoilt guy wire for you .
Darth Vader Obliterated Alderaan
While Palpatine rate the structure of the Death Stars , it was Darth Vader who had control over them . specially the first one . And while he was commanding the giant ball of doom , he was the one call the shots . When he brought the vessel to Alderaan , it was his choice to destroy the planet just to make a detail .
Yikes . That ’s one in earnest wicked scourge .
Also , he did n’t know Leia was his daughter , but blow up her home base - world and integral household was passably brutal thing to do right on before her eye .

However , the Jedi Master once know as Anakin Skywalker destroyed his people from the inside out .

Palpatine Has The Laugh
This sounds superficial , but Vader always struggled with his dark , even when he was a bad guy cable chop down innocents . Palpatine never has had that problem . He racket in being evil . And of all his traits , his laugh is the prototype of all that . He cackle in absolute joy when his plans fall into position , ruining the spirit of others as it pleases him .
He even laughed like that when Luke Skywalker refused his offer , because it meant he ’d get to watch his learner dilute down his own son .

Darth Vader Was The Chosen One
