Beautiful Creaturesfeatured some sumptuous output design and a supporting mold of heavy hitters like Viola Davis ( Widows ) and Emma Thompson , but it disappointed fans with its many changes to the source textile .

The Caster Chronicles Has Three More Books
BeyondBeautiful Creatures , theCaster Chroniclesseries spawned three further books and a spinoff serial publication too . The next book is titledBeautiful Darknessand continues the love history between Ethan and Lena and follows in the aftermath of the death of the latter ’s uncle Macon - played by Jeremy Irons in the movie - while they discover some secrets about their hometown of Gatlin .
Beautiful Creatures Was A Box-Office Dud
Despite being based on a successful novel and featuring a talented cast , Beautiful Creatureswas a fiscal dashing hopes upon spillage in 2013 , and just about covered its production budget . Critics felt the film was muffled and the central romance was a little too silly , while followers of the account book series hat many of the changes it made .

While the original photographic film has its own sports fan the odds ofBeautiful Creatures 2coming together now are nigh to zero . The first film was a bust and the lead player are too erstwhile to convincingly play adolescent , as Ethan and Lena still are inBeautiful dark . The YA motion picture bubble has long since fusillade too , so even if the first movie has a cult accompany , there ’s simply not enough interest in aBeautiful Creatures 2 . Maybe theCaster Chronicleswill receive a flick or television reboot in the future , but for now , the franchise is dormant .
