Daisy Ridley : You were like , " What ’s going on ? "
" That ’s flaky . " But then I saw the ease , and I fell in love with it . Now your journeying for Rey is seemingly staring . Are you happy with where the character ends up ?
Daisy Ridley : Yes , fully . I mean even doing the final scenes I have - be them alone or be them with other people - in my personal experience , I remember feeling really occupy up with a really square emotion . Like , it just felt really right . And watching it , I remember it ’s not a big showy ending . It ’s just a beautiful , worked up thing that I think people will carry with them .
Throughout the course ofStar Wars , and ever since Rey has been put in , there ’s always been speculation about the character ’s backstory and chronicle . For you as an actress , and perchance even a buff , is it kind of fun to sit back and see people ’s chemical reaction on what may be real and what may not be substantial ? Just the theories that are out there about Rey .
Daisy Ridley : The great matter was that the first time I saw the premiere , my publicizer Heidi , my agent Hilda , and my lawyer Shelby were ask me questions , and I was saying the reply . And they ’re like , " Nah , no . " I was like , " That ’s actually the answer . " " No , no . "
It ’s hilarious , because we have to keep so much hidden , when you ’re really honest and multitude do n’t believe you . Like , " Okay … "

Daisy Ridley : She ’s been chillin ' . regular chillin ' . Galaxy ’s belong to wreck and ruin , and she ’s like , " Hey guys ! " She ’s been grooming and sort of continuing this intimate battle . That has not gone away ; it has intensified . She is n’t satisfied by what Kylo has evidence her , so she ’s sort of struggling with that . We take on her mid - grooming , and then you see it play out more in tangible meter . The battle that she ’s hold and this drive she has to reconcile the questions that she has .
I make out you ’re slaked with where Rey end up in this flick . Is there any fortune at all that you would still want to reprise this function , whether it be in a television secret plan or Disney+ series ? Or do you experience like you ’re complete with the fictitious character and you may let it go ?
Daisy Ridley : I ’m complete . I also think we ’re already part of a picture secret plan , because John plays it and apparently I ’m a outstanding character . But the beauty of this is John and Oscar and Naomie , we ’re all in it together . So , one without the other to me ? It does n’t really compute to me , because I ’m like , " What would Rey be without Finn ? What would Finn be without Poe ? " That ’s how I ’ve always guess about it . So , no , I feel like this is a beautiful termination in this fashion .
