So the bit of muggles hidden within the seriesmight surpriseyou . There are the obvious characters , of course . But there are plenty of others deserving discourse . And now we ’re going to order them – from decent to meanest – for your reading pleasance .
Before we dive in , we ’re going to clarify what muggles are defecate it into this list . We ’re not including Squibs , nor are we including any muggles introduce during theFantastic Beaststimeline . We ’re sticking strictly to character introduced during the originalHarry Potterseries . Enjoy !
Mr. & Mrs. Granger
Yes , we know that we ’re starting our lean off with two characters , but it just seems right to let in Mr. and Mrs. Granger together here , especially given how few chance we had to see them .
Admittedly Mr. and Mrs. Granger do n’t get a whole lot of screen / page time , and thus we do n’t cognise much about them . But we do know that we would have hear something if they were horrible people – that ’s not something Hermione would have keep back quiet about .
We do bang that these two were very supportive of their witch daughter , who quite literally came out of the blue . They were also okay with her spending vacations and summers with her friends and their families , despite how piddling time they got with her . And while they were clearly overwhelmed with the magical world , they never allow their fear predominate them .
The Muggle Prime Minister
Speaking of multitude overwhelmed by the world of magic , have ’s tattle about the Muggle Prime Minister . Or should we plainly call him the Prime Minister ? Either way , he ’s next on our listing . This wretched guy got so much information dumped on him , from the first revelation of thaumaturgy to all of the drama follow Voldemort ’s rise in business leader .
But despite everything he saw , he kept the secret of magic to himself . Yes , there ’s a upright chance that nobody would have believed him should he have sample to tell anybody . But there were plenty of thing he could have done , should he have felt the need . or else , he was content to trust in those that knew more about matters than he did – the wizards deal with the site . Though he was clearly very upset when muggles began dying on his spotter .
Mr. & Mrs. Mason
Mr. and Mrs. Mason are yet another set of muggles we did n’t see much of . They were the couple ask over over the Dursleys that one clip . You be intimate the meter – during Chamber of Secrets , where Dobby used conjuration to get Harry in fuss .

Frank Bryce
Frank Bryce was not a man we make to see much of , in theHarry Potterseries . And that ’s all thanks to Voldemort . He was vote down within a few pages of his introduction , but he did n’t seem all that unsound , when you think about it .
Frank Bryce was the caretaker for the Riddle estate . The entire town believe that he was the one who killed the Riddles , which seems fairly unjust . But then again , we know the the true , do n’t we ? Despite this general opinion , Bryce stayed on as caretaker
The reasonableness we ’re including him so high up on the listing ? When Voldemort ’s wand was forced to spit out the last spells it did , Bryce ’s ghost / after - image seem alongside Harry ’s parents and Cedric . He then help Harry get off – even though he get it on nothing about this boy . And he probably had even less understanding about what was materialize .
Dudley Dursley
Dudley Dursley is proof that a character can vary , and overcome the habits picked up from one ’s parents . As a belittled boy , Dudley was a ended menace and bully towards Harry . He loved nothing more than picking on the pocket-size boy – a riding habit that his parents seem to encourage .
by and by , when Dudley grow up ( and after his life was save by Harry ) , he receive over that a little bit . He made small-scale attempts to get through out to Harry , such as leaving tea out for him . He also told Harry that he was n’t a waste material of space , and seemed implicated for Harry ’s safety equipment . But that ’s about where it ended , at least not until both boys were grown .
Mrs. Cole

Recall that Vernon frequently dedicate Harry the crummy chores in life , allowed Dudley to beat up Harry , and frequently forced Harry to skip meals as punishment . He hated Harry , simply put . And he spoiled Dudley beyond any healthy rationality .
Aunt Marge
Aunt Marge is one of the most horrifying people in the series . The only reason she did n’t end up being a worse person is because she was never given any modicum of superpower . If not for the fact that she ’s a muggle , we ’re sure that she and Umbridge would have gotten along superbly .

And number one on our list is the one and only : Tom Riddle Senior . His case is slightly infringe , but we believe he still has realise this dubious honor . Mr. Riddle grew up as part of a wealthy family . He never want for anything , and he was more than a small bit spoiled .
Yes , he was a dupe , thanks to the style that Merope read aside his choice in being with her or have a child by her . But he was also a class A jerk . He was a jerk before he became a victim . And he remain a jolt once spare of her magic .
