He is knightly , hardy , honorable and altruistic . No matter what he does , he will not lead astray his code of ethics and he does it all to guard his valued Dalmasca , even if that intend losing his own reputation to do so . He is fiercely loyal to those he serve with and is quick to put their needs in front of his own as well . He ’s jolly much a knight .
Fran—Ravenclaw
Final Fantasyas a serial publication is not very good with Ravenclaws . They often veer more towards the extremes — bravery , altruism , evil . But Fran exemplifies what it means to be a Ravenclaw in this serial publication .
She does not make her belief have it off very often and plays a very reserved character among a party of hot - head and blusterer . Yet when the post name for it , she displays wit and word in her commentary and while little else is known about her , that alone is enough to land her in Ravenclaw .
Balthier—Slytherin
WhileFinal Fantasyhas a knack for Slytherin forged guy rope , they do n’t often drive home on Slytherin good guys , yet Balthier is one of their crowning achievements in that regard . Often referring to himself as the " lead man , " as well as being majestic , cunning , and more than a little chesty , Balthier still shows a fervent trueness to Fran , and afterwards to the rest of the phallus in his political party . She ’s just in it so far as to see her homeland restored to its former glory . Though her outrage can lead to some butting of horns , this is distinctive in a hardy , red-hot - headed Gryffindor , thus she is an well-off one to point .
Penelo—Hufflepuff
Penelo is the unmortgaged foil to the often reckless and irresponsible Vaan . She can be found trying to intervene and prevent him from any brash conclusion making , erring on the side of forethought herself . She does it all out of honey and loyalty to those closest to her . She ranks among the commonfolk of Dalmasca and does n’t possess the bravery to stand up for herself , letting others do that rebelling nonsense and going along for the ride because she is so truehearted to them .
She ’s ordinary , but that ’s what make her so over-the-top to many of the " higher - ups " of the group .
Vaan—Gryffindor
Vaan come from the exact same fostering as Penelo , being an orphan living in the phantasm of an empire . But having lose a brother in the war and being the leader of the orphan group , he soon learns how much he can do with a little braveness and daring , both of which he has in abundance . While it can often get him in trouble thanks to a certain brashness , he does it all for the good of people like him , and for the multitude he fights the honest fight with , thus making him a unclouded ( andsometimes galling ) Gryffindor .
