One of the best part of anyDisneymovie is the soundtrack , and this is certainly the case when it comes toFrozenandFrozen2 . Both soundtracks are full of grand songs and really help make their respective motion-picture show that much better .
But which of the two is full ? Today , we ’re going to be taking a look at five reasons why the original is ripe , and five reasonableness thatFrozen 2takes the carrot patty . Let ’s get into it !
Frozen: Instant Classics
When was the last time you wandered into a Denny ’s in which you did n’t hearDo You Want to Build a Snowman?emanating from seven tables down ? The song inFrozen’ssoundtrack were dead inescapable , and for good rationality .
They were fantastic . They were instant bang that were just so gentle to tattle along to . All of them had a quality to them that was plainly unforgettable , and all of the lyric are still bouncing around in all of our collective heads to this day .
Frozen 2: Everyone Gets A Song
InFrozen 2 , everyone gets a liberal piece of the soundtrack . Everyone features on one of the tracks while every item-by-item lineament get their own song , withElsaactually getting two . It gives every character a fortune to beam a bit more than they did in the old movie .
Kristoff gets a chance to glisten past his short minute inReindeer(s ) Are Better Than masses . This really helps make the soundtrack finger like a full experience more than the original did .
Frozen: Olaf’s Song
Both ofOlaf ’s songs inFrozenandFrozen 2are great , of course . However , we have to give the edge toIn Summerfrom the original plastic film .
While both of the songs do a great job of sum up Olaf ’s character ( and that great " Samantha ? " spot fromWhen I Am Olderis perfect),In Summeris just a good Sung . It ’s funnier , more of a muddle , and is overall best-loved . Even if it is only by a small margin .
Frozen 2: The Outtakes
Save for what likely would have been an Elsa strain , everyone sings their outtake in theFrozen 2soundtrack . Anna and Kristoff have a petty collaboration ( which is absolutely lovely ) , Olaf has a new strain and Anna has an additional solo track .
While none of these tracks in reality ended up making it into the celluloid , it is nice thatDisneydecided to give us the songs anyway . Anna and Kristoff ’s Sung is well the skillful of the crew , but once you listen to the language of the Song dynasty , it ’s very clear as to why the song did n’t make it into the moving picture .
Frozen: Let It Go
Let it Gois , god , Idina Menzel really can do no legal injury . The song is absolutely fantastic , the visuals that go with it ( look at that base on balls , you could never ) are brilliant , everything about it scream ethnic moment . The song is one of the most memorable division of the entire film and terminate up reaching No . 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 ( it totally could have run No . 1 with some wireless support ) .
Besides that , the song is also acoming - out hymn for the LGBT residential area . permit it Gois easily one of the highlights of theFrozenfranchisein general .

The Sung dynasty is utterly sensational and compliments India Menzel ’s sinewy voice really well . It does n’t hit like the payload wagon train thatLet it Godoes , but it is better overall .
Frozen: Anna And Elsa
Anna and Elsa have a few collaboration in the originalFrozensoundtrack that were painfully drop when the sequel total around . For the First Time in Foreverdoes a great job at highlighting the differences between the two baby , and the reprise is something out of dreams , that song is absolutely arresting .
Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel phone absolutely smashing together , and the climax of that caterpillar track is goose pimple - inducing to this mean solar day . It ’s a shame that there are no straight Anna and Elsa collaborations in the continuation , because those were some of the unspoiled division of the original ’s soundtrack .
Frozen 2: Lost In The Woods
Lost in the Woodsis the full song that Kristoff deserve in the original film . He lastly got one and oh boy , it is so in effect . The ' 80s sway ballad is without a doubt the most hilarious racetrack in the movie .
The visuals and Sung dynasty itself are so corny in the best fashion potential , and it ’s really a great listen too . Jonathan Groff has an amazing voice that suit Kristoff passing well , so hearing him get to go all - in into Kristoff ’s feels , it ’s great . Lost in the Woodsis a perfect track for the character .
Frozen: Demos And Outtakes
While we discussedFrozen 2’sfun outtakes , the originalFrozenhad those too , along with some great demos . These are all fun to find out , as they give you a minuscule glimpse into where the picture show was during ontogenesis , and paint a picture of how things could have been at one tip .
Unfortunately , these songs were n’t sung by the existent actor , but the soundtrack ’s creators . They ’re still great to listen to though .
Frozen 2: The Pop Versions

They really outdid themselves this clip around with the pop version of the soundtrack ’s self-aggrandizing songs . All in all , Frozen 2simply has a better soundtrack thanFrozen .
