This one , Harry and Marv may have had coming . Hello , they could hear the tool pectus do down the steps . Yet , they wait on the other side of the door , hear to it as it came closer and closer until it slam dance into the room access and squeeze them against a rampart .
The thing is , Kevin made a heck of a racket , and it seemed like by the time he did this , it was kind of unneeded , in the common sense that the robbers had already been through Hell and back by this point . In the first film , one of the first things Kevin does to deter Marv and Harry is shoot them both with his BB gun . For Marv , it ’s point white in the face . Wished His Family Would Disappear
Every family has their difference , which often head to divergence and spats . peculiarly around a stressful time like the holidays when everyone is rushing to get things done . It ’s inevitable . In the first film , Kevin wishes his house would melt and then wakes up to find them gone , believing his indirect request has come true .
Instead of being appall , he ’s overjoyed , but as we all know , that feeling does n’t last for him . We get that Kevin was fed up with his family , but wishing they would disappear entirely is a bit harsh .
Set The Rope On Fire
As Marv and Harry are climb up down the R-2 after Kevin in the 2nd film , Kevin sets it afire , having already intoxicate it in kerosene . This was a portmanteau of vicious and serious , deal Marv was already terrified of heights . Plus , Kevin left them with the choice of burn off to death or falling to demise . That ’s not really in the vacation spirit . As we all know , Marv and Harry opted for falling , and by a miracle only movies can grow , neither of them are seriously hurt ( not even a broken off-white ) .
Destroys Houses
While we all get a big kick out of Kevin ’s booby traps ( honestly , they ’re the best part of theHome Alonemovies ) , can you imagine what kind of clean - up would be involve afterwards ? He makes a muckle out of his own theater in the first film , then coiffe back however many hr , day , even months of work in his uncle ’s house that was under renovations in the 2nd film .
Sure , his hole may have put Harry and Marv through eternal pain for our entertainment , but can you reckon the pain of the homeowner that has to clean up the quite a little ? Kevin does n’t have much regard for the side effect there .
Didn’t Learn His Lesson From The Year Before
The 2nd film initiate off much like the first : chaos in the McCallister home , and Kevin ’s family is bugging him .
