The Rise of Skywalkeris run short to try its proficient to make up for lost time by transport the three out on a missionary post together , but a case can be made it ’s too little , too late . Luke , Han , and Leia formed a squad in the firstStar Warsfilm and continued to develop their relationship in the next instalment . The Rise of Skywalkermarkedthe first prison term Daisy Ridley"properly worked"with Oscar Isaac . To be fair , Rey , Finn , and Poe have been given their own individual , meaningful character arcs , but it ’s light to see why some are disappointed it took this tenacious to see them all together . It was a letdown for the actors as well , since they ’ve cultivated friendships with each other and did n’t really have an chance to carry that over into the real movies .
Boyega did n’t elaborate on any other specificLast Jedichoices he disagreed with , which makes it difficult to speculate on what issues he might have had . But , one can theorize they might have been related to Finn ’s single journeying .
