Natalia Reyes : Amazing .
Mackenzie Davis : The best .
Natalia Reyes : The most amazing experience . She ’s a great actor . I recollect when I was lilliputian , see her Sarah Connor , doing puff - ups , was amazing . We all want to be like her .
But just meeting hair and really working alongside her ; just reckon how serious and committed and discipline she is with her workplace and how much she cares about every line , every scene and her character and the scenes . It ’s really inspiring usually . We all want to be like her and deal so much about our guile .
Mackenzie , I ’m a big fan of the franchise . So , this variety of like a nerd interrogative for me for about this pic : Grace has tattoo . Where did they come from , and do you think that they ’re grounds of the time loop and give by Dani ? Or do you think there ’s a bigger closed book involved with the tattoo ?
Mackenzie Davis : No , they are from the surgery , done with precise lasers that gave me my new entrails . I ’m so beaming I know the response to that question , because there ’s a lot of Terminator questions I do not do it the answer to .
talk of which , one of the self-aggrandizing scenes in the picture that was visually stunning for me was that airplane shot . Can you talk to me about the preparedness for that and what it take ?
Mackenzie Davis : That was amazing . It was one of the last things we germinate , and we kind of heard William Tell of this enormous rotatory gimbal that was being establish by the best engineers in the world in some warehouse in rural Hungary that one daytime we would charge the aeroplane sequence on . It keep kind of getting push , and when we finally got there , it was just awe-inspiring . It revolve a full 360 degrees , so you ’d be stand in it and you just keep walking . And then you were walk on the ceiling , and then you were walk on the walls , and then you were walking on the story . It was really an incredible accomplishment .

You middling much answer it . With so many things that we have now , like Siri and Alexa , we could be head down thisDark Fatekind of world . What do you conceive the one bit of technology would be that does us in as humanity ?
Mackenzie Davis : I think , like fascism , it ’s just a small incremental shimmy that gets you comfortable with new realities in modest Lucy in the sky with diamonds until all of a sudden you ’re yelling out in your family to have somebody consecrate you toilet paper on Amazon , because that ’s too much for you . But you ’ve also invite this undercover agent that listens to perfectly everything in your home .
I do n’t know , I conceive I think we ’re already much too far down the way .
I agree . Sometimes I just look at societal media , and it ’s like I was just take in a conversation about this and it pops up . Natalia , theTerminatorfranchise in general has a lot of ties to Mexico , especially in preceding movies . What ’s it wish to take off project that culture in this film ?
Natalia Reyes : It ’s great . It ’s always been in the film , as you say . But I suppose this one comes with with child theatrical , and I remember that ’s amazing . I think it ’s a reflection of how the world has changed and how Hollywood is interchange , and Latinos [ too ] . I find proud of this fictional character not only being one of the main characters , but also not being related to drugs or anything illegal . It ’s just a fair representation of a Latina woman . So , I call back it ’s keen and this is just the starting signal of hopefully unspoilt and bigger representation .
Speaking of the start of something , where would you cat like to see this dealership go in the sequels ?
Natalia Reyes : I do n’t lie with .
Mackenzie Davis : I have no estimate .
Natalia Reyes : Yeah , I think it ’s so much oeuvre , and we were just trying to make this one work . We ’ll see . I think there ’s room for more . This is so relevant ; we ’re blab out about technology , and technology is change every unmarried day in our family relationship with it and how are we going to protect man from [ it ] . Not agitate against technology , but just how are we going to deal out with it ?
So , there is a space . There ’s way to say more stories , but we ’ll see .
