While he ’s definitely a character that makes sense to criticize , the fact that so many characters in the MCU detest him to the point it ’s become almost a laugh is a little ridiculous . He ’s not an actual villain .
Do Deserve: Peter Quill
While many multitude have manoeuver out Tony Stark ’s flaws , not enough people have pointed out Peter Quill ’s . While he start out out seeming like a rather endearing goose in a hilarious ensemble , he became somewhat of a hateable character reference . He let his emotion get the good of him to the dot that he thwart Iron Man ’s plan to get the Infinity Gauntlet , so he can well be blame for the snap . Also , he ’s rather insecure and kind of just annoying .
Don’t Deserve: Sharon Carter
Sharon Carter and Steve Rogers are one of the most hated MCU family relationship of them all , and it ’s easy to see why . This kinship matte up really force and did n’t make mother wit given Steve ’s past relationship with Peggy . However , just because the family relationship was n’t a great one does n’t mean Sharon merit the hate . In fact , she could have been a nerveless fiber , and it ’s a pity that she was just turned into a love interest for Steve and not much else . This is more bad written material than anything else .
Do Deserve: Clint Barton
While Clint Barton might be a well - loved character in the comic strip , the version of him in the MCU is completely different . While she might not be the most endearing or likable fibre , she ’s really complex , and she ’s been through a slew . It ’s inauspicious that she ’s broadly one of the least favorite of any of the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy .

The main ground why so many fans do n’t wish Vision is that they care Jarvis so much better . Many fans wish that Vision had never been created because the writer did n’t palm the type very well .
Don’t Deserve: Mantis
Mantis is another character from Guardians of the Galaxy who never really got her due . In the risible books , she ’s actually really awesome , but , in the movies , her powers are never quite apply .
She ’s made to seem like she ’s really submissive and emotional , and many buff pointed out there are some issues with racial stereotyping here . She does n’t have a orotund fan floor for the most part because the writing of her character was n’t that great , but she still deserve more love than she gets .
Do Deserve: Odin
Odin is one of the forged dad in the total Marvel Cinematic Universe , and the only intellect he ’s not the bad is because Thanos came along and accept his plaza . Odin is the eccentric of parent who is stern and seems to have conditional love . There ’s also the fact that he lied to cover up all of the destruction and state of war that he wrought with his daughter , Hela . While Anthony Hopkins might be a nifty actor , there ’s nothing really appealing about this character reference , but this makes sentience given how mess up Odin is in Norse mythology .
Don’t Deserve: Captain Marvel
Captain Marvel is a character that ’s loved by many devotee , but she also experience a lot of targeted hate from trolls . Because of the fact that some people do n’t like the musical theme of a powerful female character leading a Marvel movie , especially when the part is n’t made just to be sexy , there was a lot of hate on the internet about her .
The character unquestionably did n’t deserve this hate , and it ’s a ignominy that the movies with diverse leading are suffer with such despite by a certain subset of fans .
Do Deserve: Thanos
While there are many villains in the MCU , Thanos is the only one that ’s really memorable . While he might not be the best villain out there as far as consistent characterization , he did do a neat raft of terms . He ’s understandably abusive and cruel even to his own adoptive daughters , and he follow in wiping out half of the universe . He emphatically deserve the hate .
