If there ’s one thing about Steve Rogers in the MCU that has been deal controversial , it ’s that he leftall of his friendsin order to go back to the past and be with Peggy .
It did n’t make a lot of good sense given the meter travel rules of the movie , and it also felt out of character to many Steve lover . Seeing him get out everyone behind after what they ’d all gone through had fans feeling dark for him and for his closest friends like Bucky and Sam .

One of the most iconic moments that evidence who Steve was as a character was when he threw himself on the grenade during school inThe First Avenger .
While the grenade turned out to be a fake , it showed that he was unforced to sacrifice himself to save others . Even though he still has n’t received the blood serum at this point , this mo showed his reliable character and inspired many fans .

For almost all of Captain America ’s flick , one of the biggest motivating factor for him as a character is Bucky Barnes . He spends so much time losing Bucky and trying to save him .
