Outside of the dissimilar main characters , the two versions ofNieRare much the same plot . The only other difference is that each version has a few unique music tracks , makingReplicant’ssoundtrack more ambient and ethereal , whileGestaltis more lineal .
Why NieR Replicant Never Released in the US Until Now
While both versions ofNieRreleased in Japan , Square Enix opted to just go with theGestaltversion in the US .
