His only option to bring through the universe from the threat of Olympus is to manually set off the bomb , and give himself in the physical process . He remote fly theBowiewith his teammates on the ship to safety equipment , and sets the bomb off whileRocket Raccoon and his friendswatch in revulsion . Killing two Supreme Being , wielding a diamond gunman and destroy a planet ? Star - Lord is officially a badass .
