In 2010 , George Lucas began work on a new translation of the original trilogy intended to be released on DVD , but a few years afterwards Disney win Lucasfilm and this 4k remaster was leave behind . 1997: Greedo Shoots First

This current variant has Han and Greedo shooting simultaneously for real this time , with Han still parry the shot . Color correction was fixed , and they seem to have in the end found a good balance . The “ Greedo dummy ” era is now over as it was take away and an explosion was added to cover the transition , cutting right to Greedo pip the table . But the bragging change in this edition is the add-on ofGreedo ’s last word : “ maclunkey ” , right after Han says “ I bet you have ” .
