Star Wars: Episode IX - The Rise of Skywalker

The filmStarWars : The advance Of Skywalkeris here and is dividing   some citizenry in terms of its narrative decisions and storey direction . Overall though , amongst the fandom , it is a massively fun journey with a passel of mass loving it for its emotional encroachment and various other component bind together to make a great drive . One of the best thing about the motion picture is the characters in it .

The character , both sure-enough and new , combine with the playfulness , rooter service , and performances to make the film what it is . Whether it is characters whose arcs are coming to their end or new character with minor roles , the film is full of memorable characters . Here are the 10 best case inThe Rise Of Skywalker .

ALLEGIANT GENERAL ENRIC PRYDE

Allegiant General Enric Pryde was a loyal police officer to the Galactic Empire , the First Order , and then the Final Order . His commitment   lay   in Emperor Palpatine , peculiarly after Kylo ’s routine to the light side . Richard E. Grant ’s performance as the supporting officer was great , and the fictitious character feels like he should have been in all three films .

Pryde is intimidating and intelligent , rife with contempt for the Resistance and Republic . While Hux had his great mo , it feel like the trilogy would have do good had Pryde been there the whole time , change loyalties from Snoke to Kylo to Palpatine , or even just secretly help Palpatine the whole time .

LANDO & CHEWBACCA

A bit of a cheat entry , but neither of these legends could be left off this list . Billy Dee Williams brought every ounce of charm and charisma to the character of Lando that he did in 1980 , and every second of his time on screen leaves a smile on   your facial expression .

As for Chewbacca , he realise his billet on this list purely for his heartbreaking reaction to hearing Leia had drop dead , one of the films most emotional moments . Seeing the pair pilot the Falcon again was pure joy , and that is what both characters bring to the film .

LEIA

believe what J.J. and Lucasfilm had to work with regarding Leia , the final product is pretty swell . Learning through Leia ’s past as a training Jedi was great and made Leia an first-class part of the pic alongside her education of Rey .

The beneficial matter Leia does in the film , of course , is using the last of her energy to reach out to her son Kylo through the Force . The moment where Leia becomes one with the Force postdate her Word ’s death is tear - inducing . There are ailment around fitting the tale and talks around her limited footage , but Leia is still the General and Princess devotee have come to adore . She pack a serious excited punch while furthering various story point .

ZORII BLISS

The unspoiled of the new characters introduced in the film is arguably Zorii Bliss . She is a spiciness ball carrier locate on Kijimi with a story with Poe . Zorii is magnetic and funny , and despite her modest function , is a enceinte addition to the moving-picture show .

Zorii ’s moments with Poe are all groovy from their interaction on Kijimi to Exogul to the base on the moon of Ajan   Kloss . The two have a corking chemistry . One of the best thing about Zorii is the wishing to see more of her , whether , in comics , books , or video game , Zorii necessitate a future inStar Wars . Also , a limited shoutout goes to Babu Frik because , well because   it ’s Babu Frik .

LUKE SKYWALKER

Luke has a   unretentive   role in the film , which was to be look , but he has a pretty impactful one . Seeing him as a Force spirit is an emotional albeit predictable mo , and his role in Rey ’s bow , as well as his admission of his mistake , are all slap-up .

Rather than his " Confronting fear is the fortune of a Jedi " citation being a dig atThe Last Jedi , it is more of a completion of his story , realizing and admitting to his mistakes . His quotes are memorable , his coming into court with Leia is gravid , and the flashback scene with him training Leia was a massively pleasant surprise .

C-3PO

unambiguously the giving surprise of the film in terms of characters is the brilliance of C-3PO . Threepio is the best he has ever been in this picture show , Anthony Daniels similarly .

Threepio deliver uproarious lines and worked up minute . His dynamic with Poe and Finn is amazing as well as with his best friend R2 - D2 , of course . C-3PO telling Artoo that he is his near friend is a real tear - jerker , and   while the character has been overshadow by other droids in the past times , The raise Of Skywalkerwas this communications protocol droid ’s show .

FINN

Finn is at the gist of everything in this film , and it is arguably the good outing the character has had in the trilogy . Finn has a great dynamic with every character throughout from Poe , to Rey , to Jannah .

There may be complaints that Finn deserve intimately than just always looking out for Rey , but in this film , Finn does do a pot more . He and Jannah ’s - who also deserves a shoutout for her role in this film - grand efforts on Exogol are awe-inspiring . Finn is shady throughout and has some fantastic second with a brilliant close out to his discharge in the trilogy , becoming General in the Resistance , and being a big reason for their triumph .

POE DAMERON

Poe and Finn are pretty interchangeable in this film , but Poe just inch it out due to a more innate arc and having less undetermined story points ( for instance , what Finn was go to tell Rey , Finn ’s love story ) . Overall , Poe is tremendous in this movie .

He is screaming throughout , especially with C-3PO , Rey , Zorii , and Finn , with Poe and Finn ’s relationships being one of , if not the best of the whole trilogy . Poe has great lines , memorable moments , with a good perceptiveness into his past too . Some may not like the revelations of his past . Still , everything Poe does in the film makes for some marvellous theatrical role minute , hilarious encounters , and a satisfying end to his arc .

KYLO REN/BEN SOLO

A boastful speculation power point throughout the whole trilogy was whether or not Kylo Ren would return to the light back to being Ben Solo . A lot of hoi polloi predicted it , and a lot of people did not plunk for the idea . However , it came to be and was done amazingly well , with not many masses call out the circumstances in which it happened .

Kylo is undoubtedly the best affair about the sequel trilogy , with Driver delivering by far the best performance . Kylo has some incredible moments , admit deform to the Light side and threatening Palpatine on his own . Ben even survives his fall down the pit and train on the Knights of Ren . The Han Solo scene was one of the plastic film ’s big surprises and one of the most heartwarming scenes of the trilogy .

REY

While Kylo is one of the estimable type throughout the trilogy and Driver has an incredible execution in the trilogy , Rey nudges him out with the aroused end to her journeying and the superstar performance of Daisy Ridley .

However , there are complaints about the " Rey … Skywalker . " line , Rey ’s face - offs with Kylo , her confrontation with Palpatine , and her response to being a descendent of Palpatine . The journey from a pack rat to grinder is a beautiful one , and Rey will be an inspiration to a jr. propagation ofStar Warsfans for year to come . What more could you need from the heroine of a trilogy ?
