With Disney now in control of all mental object from Lucasfilm , it seemed like there would be no more change to the original trilogy … untilDisney+arrived and proved that there are many affair that can still be add , tweaked , and snub . The Han / Greedo view is a frequent topic of discussion between fan ( the answer to “ who shoot down first ” will depend on which rendering you catch ) , who will now have something else to talk about as theDisney+ version ofStar Wars : A New Hopeadded one final communication channel for Greedo before he dies .

What “Maclunkey” Actually Means

Young also adds that the same Scripture was spoken by Sebulba inStar Wars : The Phantom Menace , when young Anakin Skywalker stops him from beatingJar Jar Binks . It has already been confirmed that these variety to the plastic film were supervised by George Lucas as part of the 4k return of the original trilogy , so this venial connection to the prequels is n’t that surprising .
Lucas began working on yet another remastering of theStar Warssaga in 2010 as part of a 3D edition that ended up not being released . Disney acquired Lucasfilm a few year later and these new versions were left by until now . Thecurrent Han / Greedo scenealso has both grapheme shoot simultaneously ( again ! ) , and this new “ maclunkey ” prospect is yet another attack from Lucas to make all the films feel more cohesive – but at least this version ofStar Wars : A New Hopehas a better image quality , so not all changes were unneeded or for the worse … at least not this meter .
