Several of the film ’s characters have already been wander , but for a while , it looked like Gad was proceed to be inThe Batman .
Gad is most known for his role inBeauty and the Beastand as the voice of Olaf inFrozen , but a few yr ago , Gad started tantalise people about his involvement withThe Batman . Gad had hinted several time on social medium about him take away on the role of the Penguin , a character that was antecedently played by Danny DeVito in Tim Burton ’s 1992Batman comeback . Back in June however , Gad confirmed he was not playing the Penguin . Since then , devotee have been call into question who else could take on the role , and just yesterday , it was announced thatWarner Bros. was in negotiation with Farrellto encounter the character . Now , Gad has responded to this news program .

In another post on Twitter , Gadsubtly referenced the word that Farrell may be playing the Penguin . In his post , Gad shared fan nontextual matter of himself as the Penguin with the subtitle , " So … what ’s new today?" . It looks like Farrell will be meet the Penguin , but he is n’t the first role player to be throw away as a villain . In fact , two villains had antecedently been cast . Zoë Kravitz had been range as Catwomanin the middle of October and just a few days by and by , Paul Dano was roam as the Riddler . More latterly some of the support characters have been wander , includingJeffrey Wright as Jim GordonandAndy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth .
Many fan were disappointed when Gad annunciate that he was n’t playing the Penguin , but at least Gad seems to be in dependable spirit about somebody else getting the persona . The news of Farrell potentially have the occupation is still sweet , which is perhaps why Gad share the graphics of himself as the character . His post may be puzzling to some , but it ’s incredibly unconvincing that Gad will be apart ofThe Batman .
