The sequel serial to the popularDark Night : Metaland its subsequent spinoffs will see the Earth consumed with Dark Multiversal energy . The nefarious Batman Who Laughs reigns supreme , while the remain hoagie , such as a chainsaw - wielding Wonder Woman , a long - haired loony toons , and agrim harvester - esque Batmanwill seek to relieve the world on the verge from being engulfed by shadow .

The image is the first tease that Wally will in some form be a part of Death Metal . Given the fact he sits atop the Mobius Chair ( and presumably has the same power as Dr. Manhattan ) , he might be there to keep an eye on the future hellscape . It ’s still unreadable what Wally can do now that he ’s have the powers of a God remixed with that of the metre - traveling chair . If he is part of the main story , that ’s near news for the hero sandwich who could use all the service they can . But , it ’s also possible he ’s just there to watch it all unfold .
It ’s sadly fitting thatWally West finally saved his kidsfrom being wiped from being and returned them to his married woman Linda , memories in - tact , and he ca n’t relish their return . Part of his slew to returning the kid involved him taking on the new Dr. Manhattan character . Going from one universe - destroying story to another is apt for Wally ’s journeying - the dude has been involved in some of the most miserableness - riddled tarradiddle DC has to put up . Hopefully , if he pull in out ofDark night : Death Metalin one piece and return to his original timeline , he gets rewarded with having a normal life . Right now , even with the powers of a God , Wally is one of the unluckiest heroes in comics . He could habituate a win . As for now , Wally Westis heading to the Book of Revelation .
